Our shire was formally approved by the Gleann Abhann crown in 2020 after serving one year as an incipient Shire. We are a formal branch of the Society of Creative Anachronism. This group is a nonprofit organization which was formed in the 1960's for like-minded folks to enjoy and imitate certain glamorous ideals from history, such as chivalry, service, and physical combat. Our members study, recreate, and imitate aspects of history up to and including the European Renaissance.
